
Countdown to Face-Off: Kalamazoo Wings at Elmira Jackals

This evening will be the fourth meeting of the season between the Kalamazoo Wings and the Elmira Jackals. On season, the K-Wings are 2-1-0-0 against the Jackals; however, Elmira defeated Kalamazoo in their last encounter 2-1 back on November 24th at the First Arena.
Tonight will start a three-game road swing for the K-Wings. Kalamazoo heads into the First Arena looking to snap a three-game road losing streak. The three-game streak is the longest road losing streak this season for Kalamazoo.
The Jackals are wrapping up a four-game home stand. Elmira, who is currently 1-2-0-0 during the current stand, is 7-10-0-1 at the First Arena this season. With 30 points, the Jackals are in third place in the Atlantic Division.

Defensemen Kalvin Sagert and Joe Sova will be making his their K-Wings debuts this evening. Sagert joins the K-Wings from the San Francisco Bulls, while Sova was traded by the Toledo Walleye to Kalamazoo.
Firman Reaches the Century Mark
With his first shift of the game forward Matt Firman will reach a personal milestone. Tonight will be Firman's 100th career game.
Five Alive
Forward Justin Taylor starts the week on a five-game point streak. The five-game streak is the longest current point streak by a member of the K-Wings.
Snapping a Streak
When Kalamazoo begins a three-game road swing against the Elmira Jackals on Wednesday they will be trying to snap a streak. The K-Wings have lost a season-high three straight games on the road.
