
Grizzlies Re-Sign Very Familiar Face

Fairbanks, Alaska. The Fairbanks Grizzlies Professional Indoor Football Team is very pleased to announce the signing of the only remaining player from the 2008 inaugural season. Defensive lineman Mike Quinn has rejoined the team for the fourth consecutive year and is the only player who has played with the team for each of it's first three seasons. Mike currently resides in Fairbanks and works at UAF.
"Mike Quinn is an original Grizzly. He has played positions with the team on both the offense & defense, special teams and even has spent time as the place kicker." States Nick Beck, co-owner of the Grizzlies. "Mike is a solid player as well as being a terrific person. We are very pleased that Mike is returning for his fourth year with the team." States Beck.
"We are happy to have Mike re-sign and we want to give him the opportunity to continue to improve and compete for a job," stated Fairbanks Grizzlies Head Coach Robert Fuller. "Mike is a real quality person and we are very happy to bring him back for his fourth season as a member of the Fairbanks Grizzlies."
The Fairbanks Grizzlies are proud members of the Indoor Football League (IFL). The 2011 season kicks off in February with an exhibition game on Monday February 21st. Season tickets for the Grizzlies 2011 season and exhibition game are available for purchase. Call (907) 452-5123 for details.
