Colorado Crush News Release

Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice are proud to announce that they will be hosting the Colorado Cobras for the exhibition game on Thursday, February 17th starting at 7pm in the Budweiser Events Center.

The Colorado Cobras are a semi-pro football team from the southeastern Denver metropolitan area and have been in existence for a little over 3 years. They have been to the playoffs twice and have never had a losing season. The Cobras are members of the Colorado Football Conference and are starting their 4th season.

In October of 2010, the team was sold and is now under the ownership and management of William Seneschal, JT Gunter and John Toomey; who are looking to broaden the team's experience and provide new opportunities.

"We'd like to thank the Colorado Ice for the opportunity to come up to Loveland and play football. Our players and staff are extremely excited about the game and they're really having a great time preparing for the indoor game." stated owner William Seneschal.

The Cobras Head Coach Jim Ritter stated, "We've had a talented core of players since we entered the conference a few years ago. However, this year we've largely focused our off-season efforts on supplementing our core group with young talent and new specialized skill sets." The Colorado Cobras, from top to bottom, are excited about 2011 and can't wait to have some fun playing the Ice on February 17th.

Colorado Ice Head Coach Collins Sanders commented, "Knowing the Cobras record and the talent that they have been recruiting, we will have a good opponent to test our players and be able to evaluate them before making final cuts for the IFL season."

The Colorado Ice will be starting their 2011 Training Camp on February 11th. After the exhibition game, we will open the 2011 IFL season at home on February 25th against the Amarillo Venom.

Tickets for all home games can purchased by calling the Colorado Ice at 970-472-0128.

Group ticket pricing and forms have been added to the Colorado Ice website. With ticket pricing for groups of 15 or more starting at just $7.00 per seat in the Friends & Family section. Check out all of the Colorado Ice group ticket pricing at www.thecoloradoice.com.
