Sioux Falls Storm News Release
The Sioux Falls Storm is excited to announce the signing of Parker Douglass for the 2011 season.
Douglass returns to the kicker position with the Storm after spending the 2009 and 2010 seasons with the Las Vegas Locomotives. The Locomotives were the 2010 UFL Champions. Douglas was with the Storm briefly for the 2009 season before signing with the Cleveland Browns. He has also spent time with the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints.
"Parker has the talent to kick at the highest level. We are very fortunate to get him back into the Storm uniform," said Storm Owner, Todd Tryon. "He will play a vital role in our relentless quest for the 2011 Championship."
The 2008 South Dakota State graduate earned All-Great West Football Conference First Team honors his senior year with the Jackrabbits, was named GWFC Special Teams Player of the Year in both 2005 and 2006 and set 19 school records in his four seasons with SDSU, breaking many of NFL and SDSU alumni Adam Vinatieri's records.
2011 season tickets are now available and may be purchased at www.siouxfallsstorm.com or by calling the Storm office at (605) 274-6686.
