
Grizzlies announce Family Night

Fairbanks, Alaska. The Fairbanks Grizzlies in conjunction with GCI Communications are pleased to announce that the game to be played on Friday April 22, 2011 at National Guard Field at the Carlson Center will be the 2011 Family Night. The opponent for that game is the Chicago Slaughter who will be making their first ever appearance in Fairbanks. The Slaughter are coached by Steve 'Mongo' McMichael and are owned in part by Jim McMahon, both of which are former standout players of the Chicago Bears of the NFL. The night is dedicated to all the families in the Fairbanks region and anticipate a great game as well as allot of family fun. A cost friendly special of 4 tickets for $40 is being offered for this game night. The $40 price includes all box office and convenience fees. The ticket special can be purchased at the Carlson Center box office beginning Monday, April 18th. Individual tickets can be purchased for $13 plus outlet fees.
A Press Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, April 19th at 2 p.m. at Brewster's Restaurant on the Old Steese Hwy in Fairbanks. There will be an announcement of new owners added to the owners group, information about GCI family night and the upcoming game. All media are encouraged to attend.
