Grizzlies Radio Network Airing All 96 Regular Season Games

The Gateway Grizzlies are proud to announce that all 96 regular season games and one exhibition game will air on the Grizzlies Radio Network in the 2012 season. The first broadcast is the Grizzlies home exhibition game on Sunday, May 13th, against the River City Rascals.
In January, the Grizzlies announced a continued partnership with flagship station 590 The Fan KFNS. The Grizzlies and KFNS agreed to a two-year contract, keeping all Grizzlies games on the 590 AM airwaves through 2013. The 2012 season will mark the third year of Grizzlies games on the Webster Groves, MO based all-sports radio station.
"We are fortunate to have such a great partnership with KFNS," Grizzlies General Manager Steve Gomric said. "It gives our fans a great resource to keep close tabs on the Grizzlies when they can't attend games in person, especially when the team's on the road."
Grizzlies play-by-play broadcaster Adam Young returns for his second season as the team's lead broadcaster on the Grizzlies Radio Network.
"This is a great opportunity once again for the Grizzlies," Young said. "KFNS is a top-notch sports station and we are excited to be on their airwaves in 2012 and beyond. Dave Greene and everyone at KFNS are great to work with. We are thrilled to have them as the flagship station on the Grizzlies Radio Network."
1400 AM KJFF in Festus, MO stays as the affiliate station on the Grizzlies Radio Network. KJFF will air nearly all 96 Grizzlies games once again in 2012.
Fans can listen to the Grizzlies on 590 AM KFNS, 1400 AM KJFF, kfns.com, gatewaygrizzlies.com and also on their cell phones, by downloading the FREE KFNS app.
