Grizzlies, Otters Second Game Postponed
September 5, 2009 - Frontier League (FL)
Gateway Grizzlies News Release
EVANSVILLE, IND.- Heavy rains in Evansville, Indiana forced the postponement of Saturday's scheduled second game between the Evansville Otters and the Gateway Grizzlies at Bosse Field.
The two teams will make up Saturday's game as part of a double-header Sunday in Evansville. The first pitch is scheduled for 11:05 am. Both games will be available on 88.7FM WSIE, and the Gateway Grizzlies Baseball Network.
The Grizzlies (40-54) are currently on a three-game wining streak, while Evansville (28-66) has lost 13 straight games. The Otters are trying to avoid the Frontier League's record for most losses in a season (68) which was set last year by the Midwest Sliders.
