Grizzlies Name Jeff Maxwell Equipment Manager

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that Jeff Maxwell has been named the team's Head Equipment Manager.

Maxwell spent the previous two seasons with the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers and also has experience with the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals as an Assistant Equipment Manager during the 08-09 season and was with the CHL's New Mexico Scorpions in 07-08.

"Jeff has been on my radar the last few years as one of the top Equipment Managers in the league," said Colley. "He was always very hospitable and professional with us when we visited his arena in Las Vegas the past few seasons."

Utah opens the season Friday, October 14 by hosting the Idaho Steelheads at Maverik Center at 7:05 p.m. The Grizzlies open training camp October 3. A complete schedule will be released shortly.
