March 26, 2005 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Utah Grizzlies News Release

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH * The Utah Grizzlies announced today that they have re-called left wing Frantisek Lukes from the Idaho Steelheads, the Grizzlies primary ECHL affiliate. Also, the Grizzlies announced they will be without center Jarrod Skalde (broken foot) for the remainder of the season.

Lukes, 22, was held pointless in five games with the Grizzlies earlier this season. The 5-9, 173-pound forward has been one of the keys to the Steelheads recent hot stretch that has seen them go the entire month of March without a loss (10-0-3) and move into a playoff position. In his last 10 games with Idaho, the Kadan, Czech Republic native has three goals and six assists. For the season, Lukes is tied for third on the team with 40 points (18-22 *40).

Skalde has played in 71 games this season splitting time between Springfield and Utah. The veteran has scored eight goals with 20 assists. His injury occurred last night in Utah's 4-1 loss to Chicago sometime in the first period.

Utah hosts Chicago tonight at the ‘E' Center as it is Bikini Night. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
