West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies picked up 3 out of 4 standings points against Idaho in back to back weeks. Utah won 3-2 last Friday at Maverik Center as Cole Ully had 2 goals and 1 assist and Austin Carroll had 3 assists. Caleb Herbert had 1 goal and 1 assist.
Last Saturday, Idaho won 3-2 in overtime as Caleb Herbert had another goal for Utah and Tim McGauley scored his second goal of the season.
The Grizzlies have standings points in each of their first 6 games, and have a current record of 4-0-2. Utah is in first place in the Mountain division at the start of the week.
Caleb Herbert is tied for the league lead with 7 goals on the season. Herbert has 12 points in 6 games, and is tied for the league lead with 5 power play points.
Cole Ully had a great weekend against his former team as he won number 1 star honors last Friday after a 2 goal and 1 assist performance. Ully added an assist on Saturday.
