
Grizzlies Fall to RiverHawks

The Grizzlies dropped their second in a row to the Rockford RiverHawks, falling 7-3 Tuesday afternoon. The Grizzlies drop to 18-13 on the season, while Rockford is now 18-16.
The Grizzlies could never get anything started against Rockford starter Jason Shelley. They managed just four hits against Shelley, and five overall. The Grizzlies scored three runs in the sixth, two of them unearned. Shelley is now 5-1 on the season.
Rockford on the other hand, banged out 16 hits over the course of the game.
Pete Buck took the loss. He gave up six runs, five earned, on 12 hits. He is now 3-4.
Ben Piatt had the only RBI of the game. He was 1-4. Horace Lawrence was 2-4.
The Grizzlies will wrap up the series with Rockford with a 7:05 game Wednesday night in Rockford. Tune in on the Grizzlies radio network beginning at 7:00 p.m.
