
Rascals Fall to Kenosha, 4-3

River City Rascals News Release
Despite having the tying run at 3rd base in the 8th inning, the Rascals weren't able to come from behind on Monday night as the Kenosha Mammoths topped River City 4-3.
Dennis Pelphrey's solo homer in the 2nd inning snapped a 1-1 tie that the Mammoths wouldn't give up as Joe Linde (2-2) tossed 6 innings for the victory. Dan Shouse (1-4) pitched five innings for his 4th consecutive loss. Derek Lopez earned his 4th save by pitching the final 1 2/3 innings.
Brian Fuess led the Rascals with 3 hits, and is now 11 for his last 17 at the plate.
Greg Modica (3-3) will start Tuesday's game against Kenosha in the 2nd of a three-game series at 7:05pm.
FIREWORKS TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHTS!!!
Post-game fireworks shows highlight the next two Rascals games. On Tuesday, the first 1,500 kids (14 and under) will receive lightsticks courtesy of Ameren UE. The first 1,000 fans on Wednesday will receive a Rascals pennant courtesy of Boeing.
Wednesday's big fireworks celebration is sponsored by the Enclave at Winghaven, and tickets are available in person at Hughes Ballpark or by calling 636-240-BATS.
