
Grizzlies Bring Up Goaltender Frank Doyle From Idaho

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH * Utah Grizzlies General Manager Laurence Gilman announced today that the team has re-called goaltender Frank Doyle from the Idaho Steelheads, the Grizzlies primary ECHL affiliate.
Doyle, 24, currently ranks third in the ECHL with 12 wins and seventh with a 2.07 goals against average. Overall he is 12-6-1 with a 2.07 GAA, two shutouts and a .926 save percentage.
The University of Maine product played one game with the Grizzlies during the pre-season making 34 saves in a 2-1 shootout victory over the Edmonton Road Runners. Over the last two seasons with the Black Bears, the Guelph, Ontario native posted a 29-8-5 record with seven shutouts.
The Grizzlies will play the Hartford Wolf Pack today at the Hartford Civic Center with face-off scheduled for 2:05 PM (mst).
