Grand Rapids Griffins (4-4-0-0) vs. Houston Aeros (6-4-0-0) TONIGHT 7 p.m. Van Andel Arena

* Riding the momentum of last weekend's perfect 3-0 start at Van Andel Arena, the Griffins will continue their season-high six-game homestand tonight with the first of two consecutive clashes against the Houston Aeros, who will also provide the opposition on Friday.

* The Griffins are taking aim at their first four-game winning streak since Dec. 17-21, 2008, and their first four-game winning streak on home ice since Feb. 23-March 12, 2008.

* Of the four current AHL head coaches with NHL head coaching experience, Houston's Kevin Constantine (378 NHL games) and the Griffins' Curt Fraser (279) are the most tenured.
