Friday, December 20, 2002 vs. San Antonio Rampage
Time: 7:30 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6:30 p.m.)
Tickets: Available at The Zone (Van Andel Arena store or Rivertown Crossings Mall kiosk) and all Tickets PLUS outlets, including West Michigan Meijer stores. Prices: $5 (advance purchase only), $10, $12, $16, $20, $25 Third Jerseys: The Griffins will wear their special red and white jerseys, modeled after those of the Detroit Red Wings.
Live Music: A brass ensemble from the West Michigan Home School Association will play holiday tunes on the concourse from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Candy Canes: The first 5,000 fans will receive inflatable Candy Cane Thundersticks, courtesy of Nextel.
Holiday Cheer: Numerous tickets for this game have been donated by local businesses and citizens to underprivileged kids throughout the Grand Rapids area.
Christmas Festivities: Santa Claus and live reindeer will be at the arena. There will also be Christmas music and videos played throughout the game.
