
Amerks Fans and Foodlink Feed Rochester-Area Families

Rochester Americans News Release
(Rochester, New York)...The Rochester Americans, their hearty hockey fans and Foodlink brought joy and happiness to many area Rochester families after a successful November Food to Families Thanksgiving Food Drive.
For nine home Amerk games during the month of November, Rochester hockey fans donated 457 pounds of non-perishable food items at The Blue Cross Arena, which provided 343 emergency meals to the Rochester community (based on 1.33 meals per pound of food).
Foodlink garnered 8,509 pounds of food items total during the November Food to Families Thanksgiving Food Drive.
