GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins on Tuesday announced the hiring of Ashley Oostindie as director of digital marketing and Paige Sliney as digital media production manager.

After earning a degree in advertising and public relations from Penn State, Oostindie spent three years as a guest experience expert at Walt Disney World.

Sliney comes to Grand Rapids after completing two-plus seasons with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program in Plymouth, Mich., as a producer. A native of Bloomington, Ill., Sliney has also created content for the Normal CornBelters of the Frontier Baseball League, the Bloomington Thunder of the USHL, and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs as an intern.

Sliney graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in arts, entertainment, and media management in 2011.
