
Griffins Add to Accounting and Sales Staffs

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Tuesday announced the hiring of Trisha Tatum as an accounting/ticketing assistant and Mike Howes as a group ticket sales account executive.
Tatum received a bachelor's degree in applied arts and sciences-accounting from Davenport University this spring. She was an electronics technician in the United States Navy from 1992-98 and served eight years as a team leader at Electrolux Home Products in Greenville, Mich., before joining the Griffins.
Howes earned a degree in business management from Hope College in May 2006. A four-year letterman as a pitcher for the Flying Dutchmen, the Alma, Mich., native spent the last year as a data/customer service associate for the Crowe Chizek accounting firm in Grand Rapids.
