
Greg Monroe Earns Call-Up with Utah

WASHINGTON, DC - It was announced today that Capital City Go-Go center Greg Monroe earned a Gatorade Call-Up with the Utah Jazz on a 10-Day Contract.
Monroe's call-up with the Jazz marks his fourth 10-Day Contract this season after completing stints with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Washington Wizards and Milwaukee Bucks. Monroe has played in 10 total games this season, averaging 5.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
Monroe has played in 29 games with the Go-Go this season, averaging 12.4 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. He has tallied 12 double-doubles and scored a season-high 28 points with 11 rebounds, four assists and three blocks on Jan. 26. During January, Monroe averaged 15.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.7 assists on .544 shooting from the field.
Monroe will be joining the ninth different team of his 10-year NBA career in Utah. He has played in 642 career games with Detroit, Milwaukee, Phoenix, Boston, Toronto, Philadelphia, Minnesota and Washington averaging 13.1 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. Monroe averaged a double-double in 2014-15 and averaged at least 10 points per game in seven of the nine seasons of his career. Monroe made three playoff appearances with Milwaukee, Boston and Philadelphia, advancing as far as the Eastern Conference Finals with the Boston Celtics in 2017-18.
