Salt Lake City Stars News Release

SALT LAKE CITY - The Salt Lake City Stars, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, will host three home games this week to complete their 2021-22 NBA G League season.

The Stars tip off their final homestand by hosting the Santa Cruz Warriors at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29 at Bruin Arena at Salt Lake Community College in a game sponsored by Woodley Real Estate.

On April 1, the Stars will welcome the Texas Legends to downtown Salt Lake City for a 7 p.m. showdown at Vivint Arena. Friday night's matchup, presented by Vivint, will be Utah Stars Night. The Stars will wear hardwood classic uniforms inspired by the Utah Stars' jerseys from the 1970s, to pay homage to Utah's first professional basketball franchise (1970-75) which won the 1971 ABA Championship.

In addition to the unveiling of their Utah Stars throwback uniforms, the Stars will partner with the Utah STEM Action Center as part of the Vivint Gives Back initiative to provide STEM education to those who need it most.

STEM Utah will be at Vivint Arena prior to the start of the game with several exciting, interactive exhibits, as well as halftime entertainment, in-game trivia, giveaways, and activities centered around science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Junior Jazz will also be hosting a photo scavenger hunt at the game with more than 1,000 prizes to be handed out before and during the game.

Free parking for the game will be available in the Park Place lot located adjacent to Vivint Arena on the corner of 300 West and South Temple.

The Stars will wrap-up their 2021-22 campaign on Saturday, April 2 at 7 p.m. at Bruin Arena against the Stockton Kings. The Stars season finale, presented by University of Utah Health, will be Fan Appreciation Night. For the second consecutive night, the Stars will wear their Utah Stars throwback jerseys and will honor their fans with special prizes and giveaways as a show of thanks for their support during the season.

For all three of the Stars' final three home games the University of Utah Health Kids Zone will be available, offering access to bounce houses, face painters and balloon artists on the floor of Bruin Arena on March 29 and April 2, and on the floor of Vivint Arena on April 1. Buster Bear will be on hand for all three final Stars games as well. Immediately following the games, the Stars will offer exclusive autograph sessions with select players, including a team autograph session at Vivint Arena following the game on April 1.

Tickets for the final three Stars home games on March 29, April 1 at Vivint Arena and April 2 are still available online at SLCStars.com or by phone (call or text) at (801) 325-STAR (7827). All three games will stream on NBAGLeague.com and can be heard locally on 97.5/1280 AM The Zone.
