GREENVILLE, SC - After five straight games away from home against South Division foes, the Greenville Road Warriors return to the BI-LO Center to start a five-game homestand by hosting the Cincinnati Cyclones this afternoon.
The Road Warriors (39-22-5, 83 pts.) host Cincinnati (30-25-9, 69 pts.) today for the fifth, and final, meeting between the clubs this season. Fans can follow the action by watching live on America One or listening at www.greenvilleroadwarriors.com. Greenville is 2-2-0 this season against the Cyclones with all four prior meetings taking place at US Bank Arena in Cincinnati. Of the four previous games, three have been decided by one goal and one made it all the way to a shootout. Greenville is 2-1-0 in those one-goal games against the Cyclones. Today's meeting is the first between Greenville and Cincinnati in the Upstate since the Cyclones claimed a 3-1 win on March 19, 2011. Greenville is 2-1-0 all-time at home against Cincinnati.

Greenville wins
OR Chicago loses in regulation OR Greenville loses in overtime/shootout AND Chicago loses

Justin Bowers is tops on the Road Warriors, and ECHL, with 58 assists. With one helper last night he has at least one assist in 24 of Greenville's 34 games in 2012. In the season series between Greenville and Cincinnati the team to score first has never led wire-to-wire. Greenville scored first once and won 4-3 in a shootout on Nov. 29, 2011.The Road Warriors' magic number to clinch a Kelly Cup Playoffs berth is 2. A win tonight would assure that neither Reading nor Chicago could catch them in the standings.Kale Kerbashian has put up points in back-to-back games four times this season. He has not yet earned a three-game streak. Greenville is 3-for-16 on the power play over its last five home games. For the season against Cincinnati the Road Warriors are 3-for-18 (16.7 percent).
