GREENVILLE, SC - Today is a day of firsts at the BI-LO Center as the Road Warriors welcome the expansion Chicago Express to Greenville for the first time.

The Road Warriors (28-18-3, 59 pts.) host Chicago (22-19-7, 51 pts.) today for the third, and final, meeting this season between the clubs. Fans can follow the action by watching live on America One or listening at www.greenvilleroadwarriors.com. The Road Warriors are 2-0-0 this season against the Express and 2-0-0 overall in their history against Chicago. Greenville and Chicago are finishing off quite busy weeks this afternoon. Greenville is playing its fourth game in six days (2-1-0 so far) while Chicago is finishing off a three-in-three on the road against the South. So far this season the Road Warriors are 3-1-0 when playing a Sunday afternoon game immediately following a Saturday night contest.

Come out and join the Road Warriors for their second Family Fun Day of the season where children 12 and under can get a ticket anywhere in the building for just $5! Stay after the game for our traditional Sunday post-game skate with the team. It's free for anyone with a ticket and if you don't have skates you can rent a pair for just $3.

The Road Warriors are 5-for-13 (38 percent) on the power play this week including tying a club record with three in Tuesday's 4-1 win at South Carolina.Jason Missiaen is fifth among rookie goalies in the ECHL with 10 victories. Greenville is one of two teams with three players ranked in the top 20 scorers in the league. They are: Justin Bowers (t-2, 57), Brendan Connolly (7, 46) and Jeff Prough (t-10, 42). Las Vegas is the other. Road Warriors defenseman Lee Baldwin set a career high with three points twice this week; first with 3A Tues. at S.C. and last night with 1G, 2A in the win over Kalamazoo.Brendan Connolly is one game shy of tying his team record 12-game point streak that lasted from Nov. 11 to Dec. 2, 2010. He had 19 points (9G, 10A) over that streak.

Mark your calendars! The Road Warriors return home on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 to take on the Gwinnett Gladiators. Tuesday features the BI-LO Two For Tuesday special where you show your BI-LO BONUSCARD at the ticket office to get a free ticket with the purchase of a ticket of equal value. Be sure to stick around after the game, too, where select Road Warriors players will be auctioned off for a dinner with fans.
