TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: This afternoon, the Cyclones will be in search of revenge as they close out a four game week with this Sunday matinee against the Toledo Walleye. The Clones have dropped both games this week to their I-75 rivals and now have a 5-4-0 record against the Fish in 2011-12. Last night's 4-3 Toledo victory was the seventh time in nine regular season meetings that their matchup has been decided by two goals or less.

SCOUTING THE WALLEYE: Behind another solid performance from goaltender Alec Richards, Nick Vitucci's team has strung together three consecutive victories and now trails Cincinnati by just four points. Team Captain Kyle Rogers had a goal and an assist last night and remains Toledo's leader on offense this season. He has posted 33 points (16 goals, 17 assists) in 48 contests. With Adam Estoclet out of the lineup, Joey Martin is the Walleye's biggest Cyclones nemesis; he had a pair of points last night and now has a total of 10 in nine meetings with Cincy this year. Between the pipes, Richards has earned a perfect 3-0-0 record with a 1.95 goals-against average in his first three starts - including 40 saves against the Clones on Wednesday in a 2-1 win. He only needed 22 saves on Saturday to earn the "W." Richards is the ninth different goalie to tend the net for Toledo in 2011-12.

About Last Night in Toledo: The Cyclones fell behind 4-1 and were unable to mount the comeback as the Walleye held onto a 4-3 win in front of 7,490 at Huntington Center. Dan Eves extended his goal-scoring streak to six games while Mathieu Aubin added a pair of assists in a losing effort.

Shorthanded? No Problem: Dan Eves notched another shorthanded goal last night, giving Cincinnati a total of eight on the season in that situation. The Clones are tied for the second most shorthanded goals (8) of any team in the ECHL...five of which have come on home ice.

More Records for "Auby": With his team-leading 15th multi-point game of the season last night, team captain Mathieu Aubin now has 254 points in his pro career and 195 in his Cyclones career. Last night he played in his 200th game with Cincinnati. He ranks third on the franchise point list (195), goals list (82), and game-winning goals list (12) while ranking second in assists (113).

Eves is Rolling: Cyclones forward Dan Eves has notched a goal in six consecutive games, which is tied for the longest active goal-scoring streak in the ECHL.
