Greensboro Swarm Add Norense Odiase to Roster

(GREENSBORO, N.C.) - The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, announced today that the team has added forward Norense Odiase to its roster from the available player pool via the NBA G League's Temporary Additional Roster Spot exception, which allows teams to supplement their rosters with an additional player through January 31.

The Crowley, Texas, native went undrafted in 2019 after playing collegiately at Texas Tech University (2014-19). Odiase was a member of the Northern Arizona Suns (Phoenix Suns affiliate) in 2019-20, appearing in 35 games and averaged 5.5 points to go with 7.1 rebounds in 20.5 minutes per game. His most recent NBA G League experience was with the Motor City Cruise (Detroit Pistons affiliate) earlier this season where he appeared in one game before being waived on November 8, 2021.

He has a season of playing intentionally, spending time in Germany with Brose Bamberg and Medipolis City Jena in 2020-21.

Odiase (6-8, 250) will wear jersey No. 32.
