
Texas' Dakota Mathias Signs with Memphis Grizzlies

FRISCO, TX - Texas Legends guard Dakota Mathias has signed a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies via the NBA's hardship exception, the team announced today.
Mathias (6-4, 200, Purdue) was a two-way player for the Philadelphia 76ers last season seeing action in 8 games and averaging 6.0 points, 1.6 assists in 15.4 minutes per game. Mathias recently joined the Legends as a returning player after spending the 2019-20 season in Texas. In 42 games (42 starts) with the Legends, Mathias averaged 18.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.0 assists and was named to the Midseason All-NBA G League Western Conference Team.
The call-up is the fifth for the Legends this season and 29th in franchise history.
