Augusta GreenJackets News Release
North Augusta, SC: The Augusta GreenJackets, South Atlantic League affiliate of San Francisco Giants, lost 10-5 to the Greenville Drive on Friday night.
The GreenJackets would get out to an early 1-0 lead after Heliot Ramos knocked in Shane Matheny with an RBI single in the bottom of the third inning. From there, the Drive would take control of the ballgame. Over the next four inning, the Drive would put up a total of 10 runs.
Augusta would not give up, as RBIs from Logan Baldwin and Jeffry Parra would add three more in the eighth inning. Then a solo home run from Manuel Geraldo would cut the lead to 10-5 in the ninth inning.
