Chico, CA August 5, 2009 - The Chico Outlaws announced today that Greek Night, highlighted by an attempt to break the Guinness world record for largest gathering of Toga-clad humans has been cancelled due to disapproval from the Golden Baseball League. The Greek night was scheduled for Thursday, August 27th.
The Outlaws will still be having an exciting game that evening versus the Yuma Scorpions as they are in the thick of the pennant race. A new promotion will be announced for that game shortly.

The Golden Baseball League, Presented by Safeway Inc./VONS, is a professional baseball league operating in the western United States, Canada, and Mexico.
