The Edmonton Capitals have acquired former major leaguer Jose Lima from the Long Beach Armada in exchange for right handed pitcher Kris Honel. Lima brings 14 years of major league experience to the Capitals and will join Lou Pote and Mike Johnson in the most experienced starting rotation in the Golden Baseball League. In his 14 big league seasons, Lima went 89-102 with a 5.26 ERA with the Detroit Tiger, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers, Kansas City Royals, and New York Mets. Lima's first scheduled start is today against the Tucson Toros.
