Grasshoppers Fall to the Drive, 8-4 Saturday Evening

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The Greensboro Grasshoppers fell to the Greenville Drive, 8-4 on Saturday, June 17. The Drive improved to 35-27 while the Grasshoppers fell to 33-27. Greenville outhit Greensboro 12-7 as both teams had one mishap.
Leading at the plate for the Grasshoppers was Tres Gonzales as he went 3-4 with a double, one run scored, and one free base. Tsung-Che Cheng recorded a triple with two RBI and one run scored.
Starting on the mound for Greensboro was lefthanded pitcher Mitchell Miller as he tallied two strikeouts and gave up four hits, five earned runs, and two free bases on 1.1 innings of work. Miller took the loss for the Grasshoppers and moved to 3-3 on the season.
Wikelman Gonzalez recorded the win for the Drive and improved to 4-2 on the season.
