We are excited to host families, friends and soccer fans for the Grand Re-Opening Night at the new American Legion Memorial Stadium! As we make our final preparations, we'd like to share some additional information surrounding tickets, tailgates, VIP seating, merchandise and more! PROMOTIONS & GIVEAWAYS:
First 1,000 fans receive a commemorative mini soccer balls. Go to the merchandise trailer near the Northeast corner inside the stadium.
Chick-Fil-A will be on-site giving away FREE toy cows.
Pick up a copy of our 12 page feature in the Charlotte Observer Special Section upon arrival.
Stick around for the massive fireworks show after the game.
Grab a Charlotte Independence Schedule magnet when you arrive.
TICKET BOOTHS/GATES:
Fans can purchase their tickets online, in advance through our ETIX website.
For walk-up transactions:
Ticket booths and Will Call will open at 5:30 PM.
Gates into the stadium will open at 6:00 PM.
The main ticket box offices and gates to the stadium are located at the East End on Charlottetowne Avenue.
Will Call and a Spanish speaking representative will be located at the Southeast Ticket Box Office on Charlottetowne Avenue.
Mobile/PAH tickets will be sent through email. If you have not received them or need help opening them, please reach out to our Director of Ticketing & Operations: Jajuan Mabry (704) 206-1517.
PARKING & TAILGATING:
Parking lots and ramps will open at 5:00 PM. Please park in the designated parking ramps as shown in the map below.
Please do not park in local businesses lots or CPCC lots as you may be towed.
Parking is $5 CASH ONLY.
A tailgating lot is available with a limited number of spots. These spots are $15 CASH ONLY per game. If you choose to tailgate before the game please abide by all the county regulations available on our website: https://www.charlotteindependence.com/tailgating-policies.
FIELD LEVEL VIP SEATING & HOSPITALITY:
Field Level VIP Seating will open at 6:00 PM.
All Field Level VIP guests must have a valid event ticket to enter the stadium.
Upon arrival, please proceed to the East Gate and walk into the Northeast corner of the stadium where you will find a staircase and an elevator. At this location (red circle), you will check-in and receive your Field Level VIP Pass and a wristband if you choose to purchase alcohol and are of legal age to do so. This will be required for entry and re-entry if you go back up to the concourse during the game.
Food will be served on the field level in the Northeast corner (orange square) near the video scoreboard. Please refer to the map below for further insight.
We ask that all Field Level VIP guests refrain from any aggressive or insulting behavior towards players, game officials and other guests. Any of this type of behavior will result in removal from the match.
JACK'S BRIGADE TAILGATE:
Our members-only Jack's Brigade Tailgate will take place from 5:15 PM - 6:30 PM. Please refer to the map below for the tailgate location.
You will need to show your Jack's Brigade Membership Card upon entry to the tailgate, so make sure to bring that with you.
There are two parking options:
Tailgate Lot - $15 CASH ONLY
Parking Ramp - $5 CASH ONLY (only a short walk to the tailgate lot)
The tailgate on Wednesday, July 7 will feature beer from NoDa Brewing Company.

MERCHANDISE:
Fans can purchase Charlotte Independence team gear by visiting our merchandise trailer and display on game day. Merchandise will be located inside the main ticket gate, and on both sides of the East End Concourse.
Merchandise will open at 5:30 PM.

MECKLENBURG COUNTY CLEAR BAG POLICY:
As part of our move to the new stadium, Mecklenburg County has issued a clear bag policy to ensure that all fans have a safe and enjoyable visit to American Legion Memorial Stadium. FAN CODE OF CONDUCT:
Our goal is to make Charlotte Independence matches the very best sporting event in CLT and to replicate the energy, enthusiasm, passion and electric atmosphere that we are seeing in USL cities across the country.
By attending our games this season, each fan agrees to abide by the Fan Code of Conduct. Fans not abiding by the Fan Code of Conduct will be subject to removal and possibly additional longer-term sanctions solely at the club's discretion.
