Grand Rapids Gold Acquire Reginald Kissoonlal from Player Pool

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Grand Rapids Gold, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Denver Nuggets, have acquired center Reginald "Reggie" from the available player pool.

Kissoonlal made his G League debut during the 2022-23 season with the Maine Celtics after securing an Exhibit 10 contract with the Boston Celtics in October 2022. He began the 2023-24 season with the College Park Skyhawks where he averaged 6.2 PPG, 2.7 RPG, and 1.2 APG in 21 games.

Post-college, Kissoonlal joined Randers Cimbria in Denmark for the 2020-21 season, where he averaged 11.4 PPG, 5.9 RPG, and 2.1 blocks per game in 26 appearances. In the following season, he led the league in points (20.4), ranked sixth in rebounds (8.9), and dominated as the league's top shot-blocker with an impressive 2.9 blocks per game. Notably, he nearly doubled the output of the second-place shot-blocker in the league (1.8) while maintaining a 44.2% shooting accuracy from beyond the arc.

Kissoonlal will suit up to play in today's game against the Capital City Go-Go at 3pm at Van Andel Arena.
