Guelph Storm News Release
(GUELPH) The Guelph Storm announced today that defenceman Tim Priamo is the Grand & Toy Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 15th. Priamo recorded three points, all of them goals, in three games played this past weekend.
The Guelph native was a force on special teams scoring two of his three with the man advantage and one shorthanded. The 20 year old, along with his defensive counterparts Nathan Martine and Corey Syvret, scored seven of Guelph's eleven goals and accumulated 9 points in three games played.
With 26 points in 56 games, Priamo leads all Guelph Storm defencemen in total points and goals with 12. The overager shifted back to the blueline on December 12th and has remained on the Storm backend ever since providing some offensive punch and picking up 13 points in 25 games.
Next up, Priamo and the rest of the Storm host the Owen Sound Attack on Friday night at the Sleeman Centre before heading up North for a couple in Saginaw and the Soo.
