Owen Sound Attack News Release

The Owen Sound Attack named sophomore forward Joey Hishon the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the second straight week ending February 17th, 2009.

On Thursday evening, the Attack looked to extend their winning streak to six games against the Eastern Conference Colts, having won all five previous meetings this season. The Attack were down 2-1 late in the period until Hishon scored a powerplay goal, sending the game into overtime and earning a point for the Attack.

On Saturday, Alex Pietrangelo and the Niagara Ice Dogs came to Bayshore for an evening tilt. Hishon was able to pick up an assist in a tight checking 2-1 loss.

The Attack was back in action the very next afternoon against Brian Kilrea and the Ottawa 67's. Hishon was able to add 1 goal and 1 assist in a 5-4 shootout loss.

The Attack are back in action tomorrow evening when the Sarnia Sting come to town for a 7pm start.
