(Southaven, MS) - The Mississippi RiverKings of the Central Hockey League are pleased to announce the addition of Nathan Gosline to the team's front office staff in the position of Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. Gosline will be focusing on the franchise's current corporate partnerships and will be working to expand the team's partnerships with the Mid-South business community.

For Gosline, it will be a return to the area, as he was employed by the RiverKings several years ago working in sales for the franchise. Gosline will be beginning his duties in early-to-mid January.

The Glen Falls, New York native has spent the past six seasons with the ECHL's Florida Everblades as its Director of Sales. With the Everblades, Gosline was responsible for overseeing all sales aspects for the team and their home arena, Germain Arena in Estero, Florida, located south of Fort Myers. Beginning as the group sales manager for the organization, Gosline was promoted to director of sales in August, 2005.

Gosline says the Florida team has been quite successful in its dealings with group and corporate sales with him at the helm. "Two years ago we set a record for the most corporate sponsorships ever sold here in the building and with the team," Gosline says. "I've been able to help double our group sales that we've had from four years ago."

Gosline has also worked with the Adirondack Frostbite of the American Hockey League and the International Hockey League's Orlando Solar Bears.

RiverKings Director of Business Operations Dave "Ab" Mattice feels Gosline will be a valuable addition to the team's front office staff. "We're excited at the prospect of Nate returning, because he brings a lot of experience in the sales side of hockey," Mattice notes. "He's done a great job with the Everblades on the sales side, taking them to the top level of organizations in the ECHL. We expect Nate to be able to bring that experience to the RiverKings, not only to increase our sales, but also to help solidify our relationship with our current and future business partners."

Nathan says he's excited about the prospect of returning to the Mid-South. "I'm a sales guy, I love hockey and I loved the area when I was there before," Gosline pointed out. "I've missed the people, the food, it's a great building and the area as a whole is great. I really did love it when I was there before."
