LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League will play three games in three nights against Southern Conference foes this weekend. The Bucks host Rio Grande Valley Thursday, and Arizona on Friday at the LEC, before traveling to Texas on Saturday. The four for $40 is back for the holiday's, buy four tickets for just $40. The Bucks start their busy weekend on Thursday, when they host the Killer Bees on Big Buck Thirsty Thursday's, where beer is $2 all game long.

Laredo enters this weekend's games in first place in the Southeast Division with a 12-5 mark (24pts), having won seven of their last eight games.

The Bucks and Killer Bees will meet for the fifth time this season, with each team winning both of their home games against each other. Laredo has won two straight against Rio, by scores of 5-2, and 4-2.

Entering this week Jeff Bes leads the CHL in scoring with 31 points (4-27=31), including a league-high 15 game point streak. Bes' 27 assists are also tops in the league.

The Bucks have been solid defensively thus far, as they are second in the CHL in goals allowed with 42.

The Killer Bees enter this week in third place in the Southeast Division, with a 8-5-2 mark (18pts). After starting with a franchise best 5-0 record, the Bees are just 3-5-2 in their last 10 games.

Rio is coming off of a 4-3 win in Wichita on Saturday night, a game that saw the Bees lose their leading scorer Trevor Weisgerber to a concussion. Weisgerber has put up 19 points (5-14=19).

The Killer Bees have two players with 14 points apiece this season, Travis Banga (7-7=14), and Robin Bouchard (5-9=14).
