
Gonzalez joins Kannapolis from AZL Sox

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (Aug. 29, 2015) - The Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, have received catcher Daniel Gonzalez from the Rookie Arizona League White Sox today, bringing the team's roster to a South Atlantic League maximum 25 players.
Gonzalez, 19, has appeared in 26 games for the AZL White Sox this season, batting .273 (21-77) with three doubles, a home run, and 15 RBI. He is in his first season playing domestically after spending two seasons with the Dominican Summer League White Sox in 2013 and 2014. In 119 career minor league games, Gonzalez is batting .266 (106-398) with a career .350 on-base percentage.
