
Golden State Warriors Recall Guard Jacob Evans III from Santa Cruz Warriors

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors have recalled guard Jacob Evans III from the Santa Cruz Warriors, the team's NBA G League affiliate, both teams announced today.
Evans III (6'6, 210) has appeared in 20 games (15 starts) with the Santa Cruz Warriors this season, averaging 11.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 26.4 minutes per game.
The first-year guard from the University of Cincinnati, who was selected with the 28th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, has appeared in 23 games with Golden State this season, averaging 0.6 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 4.3 minutes per game.
The Santa Cruz Warriors will continue their three-game road trip tomorrow, March 6 against the Wisconsin Herd (5:00 p.m. PT, ESPN+). The team will return to Kaiser Permanente Arena on Wednesday, March 13 against the Greensboro Swarm (7:00 p.m. tip-off, NBC Sports Bay Area Plus), with the first 1,500 in attendance receiving a Baron Davis bobblehead.
