
Rio Grande Valley Vipers Acquire Jordan Adams

EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers, NBA G League Affiliate of the Houston Rockets, announced the acquisition of guard Jordan Adams from the available player pool.
Adams (6-5, 209) was selected in the 1st round as the 22nd overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies. He appeared in 32 games over two seasons for the Grizzlies, spanning from 2014-2016.
Over the two seasons with Memphis, Adams tallied a 3.2 points per game and shot 40.2% from the field. He added on 1.9 assists per game as well as 2.9 steals.
Adams played at University of California Los Angeles in 2012 until the end of the 2014 season. In the 2013-14 season, Adams averaged 17.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 30.1 minutes of action. His career average totaled 16.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 30.2 minutes of play for the Bruins.
