
Golden State Warriors Assign Guard Jacob Evans III to Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ, CA - The back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors announced tonight that guard Jacob Evans III has been assigned to the Santa Cruz Warriors, the team's NBA G League affiliate. This is the sixth assignment to Santa Cruz for Evans III during the 2018-19 season.
Evans III (6'6, 210) has appeared in eight games (three starts) for Santa Cruz this season, averaging 9.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.00 steals in 23.2 minutes per contest.
The first-year guard from the University of Cincinnati, who was selected with the 28th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, has appeared in 23 games with Golden State this season, averaging 0.6 points, 0.4 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 4.3 minutes per game.
The Santa Cruz Warriors will host the Salt Lake City Stars tomorrow night, January 18, at Kaiser Permanente Arena (7:00 p.m. PST on NBC Sports Bay Area Plus), with the first 1,500 fans in attendance receiving a Warriors tin lunchbox courtesy of Plantronics.
