BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, fell to the Capital City Go-Go 138-107 in the second-all-time meeting between the two teams Friday night at Sports and Entertainment Arena in Washington, D.C.

Karlo Matkovic helped pace the Squadron offensively as the Birmingham (11-13) center recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Malcolm Hill led Birmingham in the scoring column with 22 points on the night.

Landers Nolley II scored 18 off the bench and hauled in six rebounds as well.

R.J. Hampton's 24 points off the bench for the Go-Go (14-9) led the home team, while Hamidou Diallo led the starters with 22. Devon Dotson scored 10 and registered 15 rebounds for a double-double.

Birmingham and Capital City are now set for a Sunday matinee rematch at Sports and Entertainment Arena in Washington, D.C. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. and the game can be seen locally on My68 and nationally on NBAGLeague.com.
