Gladiators Advance to Division Finals

With Kris Goodjohn's game winning goal at 7:22 of overtime, the Gwinnett Gladiators knocked off the Mississippi Sea Wolves in Game #5 of the Central Division Semi Finals to win the series 3 games to 2 and advance to the Central Division Finals.

The Gladiators will face the Louisiana IceGators in the second round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs after the IceGators beat the Pensacola Ice Pilots last night in double overtime at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Louisiana finished as the Central Division regular season champions and will be the higher seed in the Central Division finals. The Gladiators will again host Game #3 at the Arena at Gwinnett center and if necessary, Game #4 as well.

Game #1: Friday, April 16th, @ Louisiana, 8:05 p.m. ET

Game #2: Saturday, April 17th, @ Louisiana, 8:05 p.m. ET

Game #3: Wednesday, April 21st, vs. Louisiana, 7:35 p.m. ET

Game #4: Friday, April 23rd, vs. Louisiana, 7:35 p.m. ET*

Game #5: Sunday, April 25th, @ Louisiana, 5:05 p.m. ET*

Tickets for Game #3 as well as Game #4 scheduled for the Arena at Gwinnett Center are now on sale at area Atlanta Ticketmaster locations, charge-by-phone at 404-249-6400 and online at ticketmaster.com. Fans can also stop by the Arena at Gwinnett Center Box office between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to purchase tickets.
