Get "The Edge Christmas Hockey Camp" during Christmas break

BOISE, Idaho -The Idaho Steelheads and Idaho IceWorld are partnering for Treasure Valley youth to present "The Edge Christmas Hockey Camp." The camp, featuring Idaho Steelheads Head Coach Derek Laxdal and several Steelheads players volunteering their time, will teach intense power skating, stick handling and scoring clinics, and will be offered to 10U, 13U and 18U motivated boys and girls hockey players.

Laxdal said, "It's always great to work with kids and give back to the community. We hope we are developing the first local kid to play for the Idaho Steelheads!"

Along with the Steelheads coach and players, Idaho IceWorld's specialized instructors John Ursillo and Scott Cyr, will focus on unique on-ice instruction/drills and teach individual skills versus team tactics.

The Edge Christmas Break Camp is offered December 26th thru 29th (13U/10U). The 18U camp ran from December 19th thru 21st.

Registrations are limited.

Camp/Times:

U10 and U13

December 26th thru 29th

U10 (Mites/Squirts) 26th 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. - 27th 5:00-6:00 pm - 28th 6:30-8:30pm

U13 (PeeWee/Bantam) 26th 7:00-8:30 p.m. -27th 6:00-7:00 pm - 29th 6:30- 8:00 p.m.

Evening of the 28th drills coordinated by Steelheads Head Coach Derek Laxdal, PeeWee and Bantam welcome to participate.

Price also includes camp certificates and Steelheads memorabilia.

Cost: $85.00 (non-refundable) Make checks payable to City of Boise or pay by credit card over the phone.

Dates for Idaho IceWorld "The Edge Spring Break Camps" will be announced in February 2006.
