Henrich and Kelly Called to Springfield

Johnstown, PA (December 21, 2005) - The Johnstown Chiefs announced that forwards Justin Kelly and Adam Henrich have been recalled by Springfield of the AHL.

In 21 games with the Chiefs, Kelly has 28 points (11g, 17A), including two game winners and is among the league leaders is scoring. The 24 year-old leads the team with 11 power play points. Kelly also has seven multi-point games this season. The 6'4 center played four games for Springfield last season, registering two goals and one assist.

The 21 year-old Henrich began the season with Springfield, registering two assists and ten penalty minutes in five games. In 21 games with the Johnstown Chiefs, Henrich has six goals and seven assists. He has anchored the left wing on the Chiefs top line with Kelly.

The 2005-2006 season, presented by The First National Bank of Pennsylvania, has entered the Christmas break. The Chiefs stand at 9-12-7, in a tie with the Toledo Storm for fourth place in the North division. The Chiefs return to action next Friday in Trenton, then are home for a New Year's Eve match with Columbia. Tickets are available by calling 1-800-Slapshot.
