Georgia Force QB Chris Greisen Named Offensive Player of the Week for Third Time

FLOWERY BRANCH, GA - The Arena Football League has announced that QB Chris Greisen has been named AFL Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Georgia's 72-57 victory over the New Orleans VooDoo.
Greisen, 6-3, 220 pounds, connected on 19 of 23 passes (82.6 comp. pct.) for 243 yards with nine touchdowns in addition to carrying the ball one time for three yards and one touchdown in Georgia's (8-1) 72-57 win over the VooDoo. Greisen has thrown for 2,828 yards on 222 of 299 passing with 73 touchdowns through the first nine games of the season. He leads the AFL in touchdown passes (73), completion percentage (74.2) and quarterback rating (133.2), while ranking second in the league in passing yards (2,828). This marks the third time this season he has earned Offensive Player of the Week honors (Week 1 and Week 6) in addition to being named AFL Offensive Player of the Month for the month of March.
