Player Notes: Terry Marchant is tied for 17th in the league in scoring with 47 points...Jordan Fox is 14th among rookies in scoring with 25 points...Among defensemen, Gerard Miller is fourth in scoring with 37 points, Shaun Fisher is tied for ninth with 26 points and Martin Ondrej is tied for 17th with 21 points.
Team Notes: The Generals are 11-5-3 in 2007...The Generals are second in the league on the power play at 19.4% and first in road power play at 20.0%...The Generals lead the league with 80 power play goals and lead the league with 17 shorthanded goals against...The Generals best period in goal differential is the second period where they have outscored their opponents 66-63...The Generals are 1-5 in shootouts this season and have three goals in 29 shots during shootouts.

GENERALS WEEK IN REVIEW February 12 - February 18
Wednesday, February 14 Flint 2 @ Port Huron 3 SO
Terry Marchant gave the Generals a 1-0 lead in this game with a power play goal at 7:58 of the first period. Shaun Fisher assisted on the goal. Port Huron tied the game 1-1 with a shorthanded goal at 4:40 of the second period. Flint reclaimed the lead at 6:32 on a Bobby Reynolds unassisted goal. A power play goal 36 seconds into the third period by the Flags tied the game 2-2. The game would go to a shootout tied 2-2. Port Huron outscored the Generals 3-1 in the shootout for the win. Jason Muzzatti made 23 saves on 25 shots in the shootout loss.
Friday, February 16 Bloomington 4 @ Flint 5
The Generals returned home to host the Prairie Thunder for the third time this season. Bloomington took a 1-0 lead on a Trevor Baker power play goal at 5:43 of the first period. Jan Jas tied the game 1-1 at 19:13 with a power play goal from Shaun Fisher and Jason Selleke. A Selleke goal at 2:34 of the second period gave the Generals the lead. Shawn Snider extended the Flint lead to 3-1 at 3:54. Baker scored his second goal of the game at 10:25 to make it a 3-2 game. The Generals went up 4-2 through two periods of play when Bobby Reynolds scored at 16:41. Bloomington got back to within one goal at 2:19 of the third period. Reynolds scored his second goal of the game at 3:08 to give Flint another two goal advantage. Baker completed his hat trick for Bloomington at 13:48 to end the scoring. Jason Muzzatti made 38 saves on 42 shots for the win.
Saturday, February 17 Kalamazoo 3 @ Flint 0
The Generals were shut out for the third time at home and fourth time this season, and their five game home winning streak was ended by Kalamazoo. Kalamazoo took a 1-0 lead on a Nick Bootland power play goal at 11:51 of the second period. At 9:31 of the third period the Wings took a 2-0 lead on a Jeff Brown power play goal. The Wings ended the scoring with an empty net, shorthanded goal at 18:03 by Kory Karlander. Jason Muzzatti made 22 saves on 24 shots in the loss.

Friday, February 23 Muskegon @ Flint 7:30p.m.
The Generals host the Fury for the fourth time this season. The Generals are 2-5-1 against the Fury this season, 0-3-0 in Flint. The Generals and the Fury will play two more times after this game.
Saturday, February 24 Fort Wayne @ Flint 7:30p.m.
This will be the second game at home for the Generals against the Komets this year. The Generals are 1-1-1 against the Komets, 0-0-1 in Flint. There will be three more regular season meetings between these teams this season.
Generals Player of the Week:
The Generals Player of the Week is Bobby Reynolds. Reynolds had three goals in three games last week. He had two goals on Friday night, including the game winning goal.
Generals Goaltender of the Week:
The Generals Goaltender of the Week is Jason Muzzatti. Muzzatti went 1-1-1 last week in three games played. He made 83 saves on 91 shots for a .912 save percentage and had a goals against average of 2.67.
