Jackson (Double-A Seattle Mariners) hosts the Chattanooga Lookouts (Minnesota Twins) for the first game of the final five-game series and homestand of the 2016 Regular Season... It's the final State Farm Agent Wes Harris Dollar Night of the regular season! Thanks to our good friend State Farm Agent Wes Harris, all General Admission tickets, hot dogs, popcorn, Pepsi products, and select beers are just $1 dollar! Battling the Lookouts: The Generals are 13-7 against the Lookouts this year and have already locked up the season series win... Three Generals have played in all 20 games thus far: Benji Gonzalez, Tim Lopes, and Tyler O'Neill. Gonzalez leads the trio with a .305 average, 1 HR, 7 RBI, 14 R, 7 2B, 4 BB, and 1-2 SB.

Sweeping the Awards: The Jackson Generals are the third team in the history of the Southern League to sweep the three major league awards: Tyler O'Neill (MVP), Ryan Yarbrough (Most Outstanding Pitcher), and Dar- en Brown (Manager of the Year). The 1980 Nashville Sounds weere the first to sweep followed by the 1991 Green- ville Braves... O'Neill is the first MVP in the Mariners' era and the second in franchise history after Richard Lewis in 2004. Yarbrough is the second Most Outstanding Pitcher in the Mariners' era after Brandon Maurer in 2012 and third overall in franchise history after Maurer and Ricky Nolasco in 2005. Daren Brown is the first manager of the Year in the Mariners' era and third in franchise history after Dave Trembley in 1999 and Dave Bialas in 2000.

Hey Now You're An All-Star: After leading the Southern League with eight mid-season all-stars, the Generals have three post-season all-stars in LHP Ryan Yarbrough, INF Tim Lopes, and OF Tyler O'Neill. Both Yarbrough and O'Neill were midseason all-stars as well... The 2015 Generals didn't have any post-season all stars. The three in 2016 is tied with 2012 for the second most on the team in franchise history behind the four in 2005.

Heading to the Desert: On Wednesday the Arizona Fall League rosters were released and the Seattle Mariners will be sending eight prospects to the prestigious league to play Peoria. Tyler O'Neill, Tyler Marlette, Dan Altavilla, Emilio Pagan, Dylan Unsworth, and Guillermo Heredia are six of the eight going and the only six to play for Jackson. Luiz Gohara (Single-A Clinton) and Drew Jackson (Single-A Bakersfield) are the other two.

Triple Crown Watch: Tyler O'Neill leads the league in one of three major Triple Crown categories: .294 AVG (t-3rd), 24 HR (2nd), 100 RBI (1st). O'Neill's .294 average is tied for seven points behind of Chatta- nooga's Zach Granite at.303 in first, the 24 HR are one behind Mobile's Kevin Cron's 25, and the 100 RBI are 14 ahead of Mobile's Kevin Cron in second with 86. The only other Triple Crown winner in the modern era of the Southern league was Mike Reinbach of the 1972 Asheville Orioles: .346 average, 30 HR, 109 RBI.

Rewriting Franchise History: Multiple Generals have started to rewrite the record books in 2016. Tyler O'Neill's 100 RBI the most in franchise history ahead Julio Zuleta's 97 in 1999. Ian Miller's 46 stolen bases are tied for the fourth most in a season in franchise history (t-2nd is 50, 1st is 60). Ryan Yarbrough and Brett Ash's 12 wins are tied for the second most in franchise history behind Ricky Nolasco's 14 wins in 2005 in first... Finally, with his triple on August 20th at Birmingham, Leon Landry now has 19 career triples with the Gener- als from 2013 to 2016, the most triples ever over a career for one player in franchise history.

Franchise Record Watch: The Jackson Generals currently sit at 83-51 overall this season with 5 games left. The current franchise record for most wins in a season is when the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx went 84- 57 in 1999 as the Chicago Cubs' Double-A Affiliate... Additionally, with a 7-6 win on Saturday August 6th, the Gen- erals clinched an above .500 record for the first time since 2012 when they went 79-61... Meanwhile the Generals won't be able to set or tie the record for most wins in Mariners' affiliate history, which is currently held by three teams who won 89 games. Jackson has already set its own franchise record for most wins as a Mariners' affiliate.

First Half Champs: The Generals clinched the North Division First Half Title with a 3-2 13-inning win on June 11th over Mississippi and became the first team MiLB to secure a playoff spot... It's the first playoff berth for Jackson since the 2012 North First Half Title with a 42-28 first half record... Additionally, with their 46-24 record, the 2016 Generals clinched the franchise record for most wins in a half with 46 breaking the record set by the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx who went 45-25 and 45-23 in the second half of 1999 and 2000 respectively.

Recap: The Jackson Generals dropped the rubber match and series finale of a five-game series to the Biloxi Shuckers 2-0 on Wednesday night at MGM Park in Biloxi, Mississippi. Jackson's offense recorded just one hit, a single from Tyler Marlette, in the loss while drawing three walks. After Jackson (37-27, 83-51) was held scoreless in the top of the first, Biloxi (31-34, 70-64) took an early lead on swing of the bat in the bottom of the first.
