
Generals Acquire Matt Petgrave and Geoffrey Schemitsch

Oshawa, Ontario - Oshawa Generals General Manager Chris DePiero has announced the acquisition of defensemen Matt Petgrave and Geoffrey Schemitsch from the Owen Sound Attack. In exchange for Petgrave and Schemitsch, as well as Owen Sound's 4th round pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection, the Generals traded defenseman Kyle Hope, Sault Ste. Marie's 2nd round pick in 2012, and the Generals 2nd round pick in 2015. DePiero commented on the trade. "We are sincerely thankful for all that Kyle has done for the team and we appreciate his hard work and commitment throughout his years spent with us. We are also very excited to welcome Matt and Geoffrey and look forward to the opportunities presented by having them on the team.
