
Generals Acquire Julian Melchiori

Oshawa, Ontario - Oshawa Generals General Manager Chris DePiero announced today the acquisition of defenseman Julian Melchiori from the Kitchener Rangers in exchange for a 4th round pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection and a 4th round pick in 2016.
Born in 1991, Melchiori is an overager and prospect of the Winnipeg Jets who stands 6'3" and weighs in at 215 lbs. His size and strength will make him a valuable element of the Generals defence.
"We are thrilled to welcome Julian to the team. He will be a valuable addition to our blue line as a veteran, for his physical presence, and his ability to move the puck," DePiero commented.
