The Owen Sound Attack has named sophomore forward Garrett Wilson the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 3rd, 2010. The Elmvale, ON. native was a huge part of the Attack's three wins last week that stretched their winning streak to four games.

Wilson, a draft pick of the Florida Panthers started his week off with a two point performance, notching a goal and an assist against the visiting Niagara Ice Dogs on Wednesday. The Attack and the big winger took the show on the road to Barrie to face the Colts and their 22 game winning streak and Wilson did not disappoint his hometown crowd putting up another goal and assist to help lead the Attack to a 6-4 win, halting the Colts franchise record winning streak at 22. The Attack ended the week at home against the Ottawa 67's on Saturday and Wilson saved his best for last with a one goal and two assist performance.

Wilson finished the week a +3 with 3 goals, 4 assists including the game winning goal against the 67's on Saturday evening. The Attack is back in action this Wednesday night when they look to extend their winning streak to five games in a row against the London Knights. Game Time is 7:00pm.
