The Guelph Storm announced today that for forward Peter Holland is the AMJ Player of the Week.
Holland had two goals and two assists picking up four points in four games played this week. Held off the scoresheet against the Knights on Tuesday, Holland recorded a point in the next three Storm games. Friday against the Spitfires, the Caledon native set up Michael Latta for his 10th of the season late in the game. Saturday in Erie the 19 year old recorded his 9th of the season against the Otters before scoring his tenth in the overtime victory over the Battalion on Sunday afternoon.
Recording 10 goals and 20 assists so far this season, Holland sits third on the Storm in scoring, three points behind Mathew Sisca, with 30 points. Producing at a point per game pace, the Ducks 2009 first round pick is second on the team in assists.
Next up, the Storm face a weekend away from the Sleeman Centre playing in Saginaw on Friday night before heading to the Soo on Saturday for a 7:30pm start. The next home Storm game is Friday January 15th when the Conference Rival Owen Sound Attack enter the Eye of the Storm for a 7:30 pm start.
